US Virgin Islands
Best Times: December - May
Are you coming from the states and want to experience the Caribbean, but don't have a passport? No worries! The US Virgin Islands have endless opportunities without having to leave the territory. There are dozens of islands and countless bays with pristine waters for snorkeling, diving, fishing, beach-lounging, or beach bar chilling. You can hike well-maintained trails in the Virgin Islands National Park on St. John, drink painkillers at Abi Beach Bar while lounging in a hammock, or snorkel live coral reefs off undeveloped islands! We can even show you spots that only the locals know for cliff-jumping, if that tickles your fancy. The dining and shopping scene around the USVI is also something you can't miss! Whatever your interests may be, our crew promises to deliver!
British Virgin Islands
Best Times: December - May
During your stay on the luxurious sailing vessel Kai, you, your family, and friends can experience the Virgin Islands. We will pick up your group up in St. Thomas, USVI and take our time cruising around the BVI. A normal "loop" around these mountainous islands begins with heading to Jost Van Dyke to the infamous Foxy's and Soggy Dollar in White Bay. From there, we can mosey over to Sandy Spit for swimming and snorkeling or head right across the channel for happy hour on Cane Garden Bay in Tortola. The next few days generally encompass exploring the baths in Virgin Gorda, lobstering in Anegada, and snorkeling the famous The Indians at Norman Island. Whatever adventure you're looking for, we will make it happen in the Virgin Islands. Get ready for some of the clearest water and the most beautiful white sandy beaches the Caribbean has to offer!
The Spanish VI
The Spanish Virgin Islands just opened up for charter boats in 2020! These are the least-traveled islands around the VI. That said, the Spanish VI have so much to offer... from iconic white sand beaches with palm trees – including one of the world's top 10 beaches, Flamenco Beach – to some of the worlds best snorkeling. We can also make a couple of stops along the way around Culebra, a beautiful sleepy island off the coast of Puerto Rico. Your footprints will be the only ones on some of the beaches there. Culebrita, a protected island, offers a pristine white sand beach, bubbly pools, sea turtles, and beautiful palm trees to relax beneath. Come be some of the first guests to charter over in these waters!
Custom week-long island excursions in the Bahamas on request.
Best Times: June - September
During the summer, you can find us mainly around the Block Island area, booking the boat on Airbnb. We provide customized experiences for overnights, dinner cruises, day sails, or whatever your group is looking for! If your party wishes to explore and sail around the New England area, we also offer custom week-long excursions. A complimentary breakfast is included with your overnight stay, and drinks and snacks are included for day sails.
All-inclusive...what does this mean?
Kai will be provisioned with food and drink upon your arrival. All customs and immigration fees and lodging are covered by Kai with arrival to Bermuda and USA.
What is this trip about?
That is for you to decide! This trip is excellent for anyone looking for team-building, learning how to sail, miles-building on a larger vessel, or just to experience an off-shore voyage.
What will Kai expect from you?
You will be acting crew – which means you will participate in a three-hour watch rotation, 24 hours a day. Everyone will pitch in with cooking, cleaning and general boat chores that are needed along the way. Come ready to work hard, play harder, and experience something of a lifetime. No experience needed, just a good attitude.
